Trends to look out for this year in UX Design 🖥
With the continuously growing market of UX Design - designing with the intent of making the experience better for the user - the trends of this field have been constantly changing. For a little glimpse of what the new year might have in store for us, here are some top UX Design trends we may see.
Personalized experiences 👩💻: With the advanced technology we use today, a lot of the platforms and websites we use get personalized to fit our taste and what we look for from making suggestions to displaying videos in algorithms. This personalized experience will get better as they fit to match our needs and wants to create a better experience.
Data visualization 📊: To deliver more visually-appealing, eye-catching analytics to more easily digest data, this trend makes the experience fun and worthwhile. One example includes the Spotify Wrapped data, where Spotify analyzes and puts together all your top songs and genres of the year.
Gamification 🕹: Users interacting with the brands and products makes the experience more worthwhile and memorable to any user. A lot more companies and industries will use gaming and interacting as a part of their marketing plan, branding, and even how they run their company. Even Google has implemented a game for when the device loses Internet connection to ease the boredom of the user.
These are some of the few trends we may see a lot more in the coming year. Are you looking forward to seeing these? What do you hope to see more of? How could YOUR experience be made better?
