Tech2U is hiring for 125 Work-Study Positions! 💻

Are you passionate about classroom experiences? Do you enjoy working with others? The Student Classroom Ambassador role is now accepting applicants to fill 125 roles on campus through the work study program. You can also check out the Innovation Hub's blog to learn more. 

Tech2U is a new initiative run in partnership by Learning Space Management (LSM) and The Innovation Hub that seeks to support instructors and students as they continue to engage with the increasingly technological nature of classroom experience.

Role: Tech2U Student Classroom Ambassador

Job details: $15/hour, 8-10 hours per week at St. George Campus

Qualifications: 

• Comfort working in fast-paced creative environments  

• Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving abilities  

• Ability to work calmly under pressure  

• Ability to work in teams & integrate diverse perspectives  

• Ability to self-organize and manage tight and often competing deadlines  

• Reliability and accountability 

• Desire to enhance the student and instructor experience at UofT  

• Experience working in educational settings, or experience working with audio-visual technology is considered an asset.

• NO prior technical experience required

Students will be paired individually with a UofT instructor who they will support throughout the semester. They will be supported by a Leadership team to ensure that they are well-equipped and are having a rewarding work-integrated learning experience. Please note that this role requires students to work from campus so successful candidates must be available for the in-person teaching experience.
